The Children's Page :)

Ed and I have taught music in the New York City school system for many years. Working with the children inspired many original songs, and culminated in two original Children's Music CDs. "It Goes This Way", and our brand new CD, "Make a Happy Face." Both can be found online, on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Spotify, iTunes, here on this website, in many other socials, and in more than 100 public libraries throughout the United States.

The Children's Music Network has featured our song "Two Kids In the City" in their Tuneful Tuesdays Blog. We love to perform for children, and have done so in many public libraries in NYC. We worked with children from every culture, and stressed diversity and love for all.  Adults have much to learn from children sometimes.:)

Our daughter Elyse Orecchio, shares the vocals with me on both CDs, Ed plays guitar, piano and flute, and his former high-school student, Federico Zegarra, plays percussion on our first CD. Max Maples is percussionist for our new release, with Ed playing a huge array of instruments there. Our granddaughter Melody is guest vocalist on the new album as well. And our son-in-law, Joseph Orecchio, lucky for us, is our photographer, and videographer..

My friend ,co-teacher, talented artist and children's story writer, Carol Hamill, did the lyrics for "Monet's Garden" and "Vincent Van Gogh".

There are many new original children's songs scheduled for our upcoming, third Children's CD!  We'll keep you posted:) (Scroll down to see some flyers of past library children's shows!)
